I was just about to rustle up a batch of cookies for work, so was looking through the Great British Bake Off book for a new recipe, rather than repeat an old favourite. As I was leafing through, I came across a very compelling picture of what looked to be a grown up jammy dodger. It was a sable biscuit in the shape of a flower sandwiching some sticky raspberry jam. Well, the rest is history after popping to the shop for cream cheese and almonds which the recipe demands.
